CATHY IS UP FOR VIRTUAL ADOPTION!  Cathy is a pretty girl, but she's too shy to be adopted.  But you can help Cathy live a happy life at Zoe Muffin House by donating $10 or more per month in our Virtual Adoption Program.  Zoe Muffin House is our kitty halfway house....halfway between rescue and adoption.  We are a No Kill Rescue, meaning we only euthanize because of poor health when it is in the best interest of the pet.  We never kill because we don't have enough space, or bad behavior, or if a kitty is too shy to be adopted.  We get a lot of or kitties through our Trap/Neuter/Return efforts.  We bring kittens in to the rescue in hopes of socializing them and getting them adopted.  Unfortunately, the kittens really need to be 3 months of age or younger if they are going to be social with people to the point of being picked up and adopted.

Cathy was trapped as an older kitten, unfortunately too old to socialize to adoptability.  It's OK that she's not adoptable!  She's going to live her life with us, safe and fed with a screened in catio to enjoy the fresh air.
