Denali was a much beloved companion to his hooman, but due to medical issues she is no longer able to care for him.  She turned him over to us in hopes we would find a new, loving home for him.  Denali is housebroken and knows basic commands.  In his foster home he has been introduced to other dogs and dog friendly cats.  He has gotten along with everyone.  Denali is a bit reserved when first meeting someone, but quickly warms up with patience, and treats will turn you into an instant friend.  Denali is a very friendly big dog, so we recommend caution around smaller children or older folks as he may accidentally knock into them.  He is a hearty eater and has not shown any signs of allergies.  Denali can be an escape artist when he sees something that interest him.  We recommend he not be left outside alone.
